Susan embodies what a State Representative should be. She has a deep and committed curiosity about what her constituents need and the wisdom and intellect to translate that into legislation. She has public policy and leadership experience, she is deeply involved in her community, she is a network and bridge builder, she understands the enormity of the task of running for public office, and she is an eloquent communicator of her personal and political vision.
I watched Susan in action as a Three Rivers School Board member. She deftly advocated for students and staff under sometimes difficult and divisive circumstances. She didn’t back down, and she didn’t make enemies. She listened thoughtfully and made her case with conviction, kindness, and humility.
Susan has colleagues and supporters from differing political associations. She is respected and admired in our community. She will represent us with integrity, intelligence, and heart. She has my full endorsement.
